fair dues im not really on there tunes that much, but

case & stratus dubstepz>>>some old fucks with guitars (any metal/rock/indie/whatever)
I don't think it's shit. Metallica while we found out are total bitches and can't make any good music anymore, are pretty goddamn important musicians in the grand scheme of things. I don't really even rate C&S that highly tbh. The corny D&B they made doesn't sell as well as it used to so now they are on the dubstep bandwagon. A couple tunes are alright but it's hardly important music. Master Of Puppets is CLASSIC. is Led Zep jsut old fucks with guitars to you? Probably lol

The sample was pretty obvious when I heard it (then again I listen to Metallica fairly often), but I honestly don't really care. The tune is big either way.

I like how the video says "Better than indian dub" lol

I'm more than certain Andy C and the Ram fam aren't that stupid!
The cost to clear that Metallica riff would be more than anyone other than maybe Kanye West could afford.

EXACTLY. its NOT a question of whether you like metallica over chase and status

the fact is , its a VERY SIMPLE riff using a couple of notes from that scale. if youre at all familiar with this arabic scale you know that . it's not hard to accidentally come up with the same riff and think you've just written a sick eastern sounding hook

I'm with JAM1. no one's actually confirmed that the sample wasn't cleared...that's if it was a sample, i think they just happened to have played the same, pretty simple melody!
