I'm doing a remix of a 128bpm Electro tune, which i've nearly finished turning it into a dubstep tune. But i'm not sure if it really is? My friends say they can play it in a non-dubstep set.

wow i like! i think it would fit good in a dubstep mix, it keeps your mix fresh because it has this most peculiar funkeh style :p

Any suggestions?
suggestion: after 1 phase, just cut like the last 2 beats away and just a monotome voice saying something like: "piss off", and then BANG drop :p

or not.... maybe that's just copying rusko =/

fuck that

No way! Dude, that's exactly what I did! You read my mind!

Well, no, I'm lying. It's coming along now though, I've added some brazilian style samba carnival drumming to it, changed most of my drum sounds, and added a new bass/bassline for the drop.

Will post another mixdown soon, probably.

:D

I just finished a starter mixdown on a drum trac k from the new tune I'm working on and since my last tune's drums sounded like shit, I'm gonna post this drum loop when I get home in an hour and a half. Hopefully I can get some feedback on my eq skills!

just started this one, vocals un-processed and no sidechaining yet, I want to rework some of the high hat patterns too. the highs in this track are way too hot and apparently I left some vocal sample slop laying around at the end of the clip too. fweedback prease! :!:
