Yeah I was using albino but switched to predator. I think predator interface is way better once you get into it.. So I like messing with the notch filter, find that sweet spot set filter freq between 40 and 70 depending on taste, then filter that sound with a 24 band low pass.. band pass and high pass different osc.. Filter envelope automation gets the wah really going..
Hmm I'm really strugling to make Predator w**ble...perhaps You could share some tipsnotch wrote:Yeah I was using albino but switched to predator. isn't this one of the fun parts? whats the point of producing dubstep if you can't sit down and enjoy tweaking a synth to find a sound?
My advice tho is to start with a blank preset and don't get too complicated, From picking the very wave type for your osc, only choose/use it if its a step towards sounding like what you want. Don't use or add any extra filters or effects, or extra osc's if you don't need too, and only use them if they take you a step closer to the sound you want.

might be chatting shit here but ive had similar results in other synths using FM synthesis, kinda gets that metalic machine type sounds.

Re: Albino 3 Grizzly Patches
slight lfo modulation on digital waves symmetry really helps get that grit...

trying to automate this one in subtle amounts with the cutoff knob almost closed really gives u some cool results...

Re: Albino 3 Grizzly Patches
albino is the shit...
lately ive been using the 5 stage envelope for lfo speeds, its funny and kinda forces u to have expressive sounds velocitywise
