I downloaded but couldn't get anything going so gave up.

I will be on the next one and have already voted for this.
Don’t worry about people stealing an idea. If it’s original, you will have to ram it down their throats.

9, obviously.
Everything else makes way too much sense.
Also because I expected a midget to come in anytime and say NUMBER 9, NUMBER 9.

Regarding competition changes, I vote for:
3 minutes max
Shorter deadlines
No limits on number of downloads or entries

AND... I think the winner of this one decides how the next one will run, based on the feedback left here. Too much democracy is not working :Q:

I will say, it is a bummer that 300 people DLed the pack but only 40 people have voted. I wonder what we can do to get more people to vote.

Congrats Wrexile! Def. was feeling your track. Looking forward to your soundpack.

Nice one Nova.K, I voted for you!

Thank you for my mysterious vote, I appreciated it - glad someone liked my submission.

I had a blast making my submission and listening to everyone's tracks and trying to unravel how you made them. Big ups!

Congratulations, Wrexile!
Even though your achievement does not come close to mine, which is being the only one to be vote-virgin, I look forward to the next pack.

Thanks muchly all ^_^

Good show by all. Always fun to do these. Gets the creative juices flowing even when you can seem to make anything yerself

When shall we start this then? Shall we have a cuppa tea break before getting goin?
I'd like to spend a good while getting samples together, as it's important to have a varied selection (n there's nowt worse than shite samples ;) ).

If it were up to me (and I know several other folks have voiced this):

- New comp starts in about a week
- Deadline is 2 weeks from then (as opposed to 3). We may have less entries per contest, but I bet we will see more variety in who enters based on who is busy when. This will make it easier to vote.
- Voting period of 1 week (just like this one)
- I would like (some people have voiced this, not sure if everyone agrees) smaller sample packs, with less choices. In my opinion that would make the competitions even more competitive because we have less choices and will be using more of the same sounds, and also more beneficial for the people involved because it forces you to really be creative and learn to use your sequencers, samplers, effects, etc.

Just my $0.02

Do you mind me asking what you used for your "pad" sound that comes in around 0:50 seconds?

Glad you liked mine! It's my first real attempt at making something (vaguely) dubstep!
