hmmmmm...
almost.
very Photek influenced (obviously).
nice ideas, but perhaps some more SUB.

think i'll pitch the bass in the second drop down a bit. I didnt realise it but the bass tone is only at about 40hz, i freq analysed it after your comments....

Enjoyed that, thank you.

Comments:
When the distorted 'drums' come in, i found the rhythm too regular and ploddy in that section.
The keys sound a little like they'd be equally at home in a cheesy rnb track, Tokyo 2012, manga soundtrack would be more the vibe for me with synth bits like that.
I was fully hypnotised by the end, more minimal stuff, with bass n flute.

Just my $0.02

You've read the Hagakure? The gay samurai passages, kinda take you by surprise, huh?

:D
glad to offer assistance, i have a finely tuned ear for bass  .
Like i said, it's a good track. Please re-post it when you have done your re-edit, i want to use it in a mix, it will make a killer intro track.

Heh yeah the Hagakure is a manual on 'how to be a noble slave' so i'm not really surprised by it's content. A book of Five Rings by Miamato Musashi is a far better samurai text, far more 'human'.

thanks for the comments jahtao. i'll see if i can inject a bit more funk into tha drum section... ;)

once i;ve given it a bit of love i'll put a new version up for teh downlode.

and cheers for that book recommendation hamilton, i'll search it out. I must say i dont remember the gay samurai bits, are they even that memorable? Anyway my version of the hagakure is a "best of" type edition, not the complete article. Think "hagakure for dummies".
