Fuckin' hell! I did that for a bit too, this is getting uncanny. :D :D

Are you a Stihl or a husq' man? :D
I don't have any professional experience, but I have done quite a bit of tree felling up north at my uncles cabin.

We have a 1990s era Husqvarna saw and the thing still runs to this day. I also have a Husqvarna dirt bike up there.

Edit: Oh yeah I forgot the whole point of this thread. I have just finished high school and plan on bumming around Europe and the UK as long as I can. After that I am not sure in the slightest.

I work for a trade union as a political officer.

Basically I do the policy research, write and implement campaigns, work with Government ministers to get them to do what I want them to do (which never, ever happens), have 'afternoon tea' in the House of Lords and generally do political things.

I know loads of people who studied graphic design and couldn't get a job or as in my case got a job in graphic design and then got fed up. if someone asked me if they should do graphic design i'd probably say no unless their work was absolutely fucking brilliant an original otherwise you're in danger of becoming a glorified mac monkey.

having said that I did enjoy it - but got bored after two years and some of the wankers i had to work with were very nathan barley :D

Yeah, seriously, I was early on the scene of a climbing accident once and the moment when the paramedics turn up is like having the heavens open and 15000 angels fly down to help you out just when you think you're really screwed. Respect.
