Username is a simple and immature homage i payed to my real name when i was slightly drunken, but my producer name is Optimum Design, kinda came about when i was watching transformers and thought, "mmmm, that would sound better if it was slightly different"

Higgz Bozon --> Higgs Boson. It's the field where all the "higgs" particles come together. Higgs particles are also known as the "god" particles. The things that make up life and objects you see around you.

In Switzerland they have the LHC (large Hedron Collider). The LHC is a big ass device which they use to find these "Higgs" particles. With this they wanna prove the existence of dimensions and they actually trying to re-create the big bang.

So the meaning of my name Higgz Bozon stands for something that's not yet discovered, but scientists know it does exist. And when they find it... BOOM! 8)

My initials are L D

and LD is taken! So I cunningly placed a 5 in the middle.

I used to be called CODE4 when I first started DJing but errr kinda clashes in dubstep!

Used to spin Hardcore (late 80's), then Jungle (early 90's), then D&B (mid 90's), then US Garage (late 90's), then Techno (early 00's).

I've produced within all these genres also, so my producer name, CONNECTION, fits me quite nicely as I bring a number of influences to the stuff I produce now.
Keep on keeping on...

how important do you reckon producer names are in dubstep?
i cant count how many times ive heard an tune and found out who its by, and just been like wtf?!
like when i first heard of the widdler, or stenchman or trolleysnatcha.
but now those producers have just become the norm, and ill remember their names better than say 2562 - who is awesome, but just a bit harder to remember

on that note, i used to produce under the name knarf
but now i just produce under my name :D

I had a dream where I saw some sort of humanoid thing in a pod floating over a moon and thought, "ahh moonchild". :D
