Perhaps a meatier bassline as well, what are you using to make it?

Yeah, needs some variance in the structure but that sample is quality

@ Keyz
That violin sounding synth thing i would say makes the whole thing flow to smoothly atleast for the begging minute so something changing it up a little would be cool... the other jerky synth that comes in at the begining sounds like its slightly out of time but that may be the ears...
However i liked it alot more on the second listen, its not particularly dubsteppy at some points... but i guess thats a matter of opinion...

Reminds me of Gangsta rap, in a good way.
Actually, this track is crying out for some vocal action. Do you know any good MC's?
But maybe the hats could do with some velocity changes? Sounds a bit robotic after a while :p

As above could do with some more sub... the wah noices come in quite high so that it lacks any real bounce or anything so add in way more bass it'll make it heavier....
Looking to get some feed back on "Enter Space" - first one in the player...

I love the it. The kick and the sub are the stuff of envy. I really like the way the vocal seems to bend subtly down every 8 or 16 bars (wasn't actually counting), and it creates this mad little harmony with the delay. As the Fast SHow would say, Niceee......Apathesis wrote:Just put a new tune up,

Never give up!paravrais wrote:EDIT: I've given up on posting my own tunes in this thread...but something still compels me to police it like a flaming pup.paravrais wrote:Try to drop some feedback on at least three tunes, otherwise this won't work properly
If every person drops 3 bits of feedback with their submission then everyone would be happy. Don't get why some people are not only too lazy to post comments but too lazy to read the first post of the thread as well!!
Exquisite dub is awesome, but I reckon the midrange bass could do with more ooomph of some description, or some more swirliness, or something! It sounds... unfinished...
Couldn't find the other tracks you were on about, have you changed their names?
BUT
Invasion is sweet, love the tiny moment of strings, the breakdown, then that second drop with the evilest of midrangey badness.
And where the hell did you get that sample where the guy says 'what the fuck is the universe?'? I know I've heard it from somewhere!

I'm only 30 seconds in and I like it. Dark and atmospheric, subtle, yet very danceable!Antics wrote:dedman wrote:http://www.zshare.net/audio/58875640957033c7/ new finished track, feedback please?

Sounds like it needs a tad more top end on the snares? Either that or my ears are shot right now :p
Still tho,

Some feedback would be great.
Peace!
Plus you make cool tunes. I reckon the one you mentioned sounds a bit dry during the first section, sounds like it needs some 'verb. That's about the only criticism I have.
I like the giltchiness tho!

This feedback thing is good fun, and slightly addictive. Just hope my criticisms/advice aren't just bullsh*t!
Anyhoo, here's my latest number. Thought I'd try and do a remix of 'that Moby tune', there was a little competition starting for it on this forum about a week ago but it got 'disappeared'
Would love some feedbag!
Edit: helps if I post the link doesn't it....

I usually stick some reverb on my snare and a little bit on my hats, just to give them some depth. Just a little bit though, as too much will lose the impact of the drums.jbird22 wrote:Safe dude. I've heard some people put their entire mix through some reverb to make it 'gel' together, but I've personally never tried this and have so can't vouch for this technique!
The more I hear it, the more I like this track tho.
;p
