For as long as the Beast has been around this is one man that we have always wanted to book so we are delighted to have his name at the top of the bill for our 2nd birthday. A pioneer of the electroclash scene, Smagghe's DJ sets span the deeper and darker sides of electronic music with a mixing style that is still unrivaled. Check out his Fabric 23 cd for a little taster.

The Duke is undoubtedly one of the great producers to appear on the scene in the last few years. Signed by Tiga's Turbo Recordings in 2007 he has released a selection of anthems that have been played, played and played again on dance floors around the world such as his 2008 remix of Mystery Jets 'Two Doors Down'. At present, Duke is working on an album project, as well as ghost writing for more mainstream acts so we're excited to hear some new material at the Beast's birthday...

The first time we saw this man he was playing the 6am-8am set at Serbia's Exit Festival after the likes of Sven Vath and Laurent Garnier. Still adamant that he played the best set of the entire festival we can see why he was touted as ‘The Hottest New Name In Dance Music' (DJ MAG April 200, The DJ most likely to break through in 2008' by Nic Fanciulli (DJ MAG), as well as 'The breakthrough DJ of 2007' by James Zabiela (DJMAG), as well as featured as the 'One to Watch' in IDJ Magazine.

Last year saw Andy C reign supreme once more as he was crowned Best DJ for the 10th successive year; a record for the drum and bass industry. He was the highest drum and bass representative at DJs top 100 DJs Poll at number 28, and started the year getting the ultimate accolade from the bible of dance music Mixmag listing him in the top 10 of their Club lands Ultimate Power List. While running his label, signing new talents, producing and traveling across the globe to play some of the biggest clubs, Andy C is a busy man, and one of dance musics best ambassadors so we couldn't be happier to have him join us in our birthday celebrations!
