Easy all,

Sorry if this has been asked before, i had a search through old topics but could find nowt.

Probably unsurprising to some of you the mighty dubplate.net has fucked up my order, I've sent them plenty emails and tried ringing the number on their contacts page which they seem to just ignore.

does anyone have any other contact details for them or am i going to have to keep plugging away on the number/email from their contacts page?

it's amazing they're still in business with customer service like this :|

cheers for any help folks

If we all make a pact to stop buying from there they will go out of business, as they deserve to.
They charge too much and they don't stock much, just exclusives, plus they don't give a shit.

redeye can be just as bad. since october 2007, ive spent nearly £800 :? with redeye, and nearly every pre-order ive made since then have not been sent to me without me reminding them that its been released...ive even made a spreadsheet to keep track of my orders. its well annoying when u expect to recieve it on the friday for the weekend and it doesnt come. constantly emailing the guy to sort things out. on the other hand though where the fuck would i be without redeye

yea just a few days ago i ordered that benga - buzzin promo.. they fuck up my payment.. i email them giving all the infos of that worldpay thing.. making sure they realise ive paid.
no answer for a few days. i write a second email reminding them again and they answer promptly..
fucked up thing was they were now saying "yeah if the payment didnt go through your browser might have crashed during the payment or something like that.. anyway that promo is now sold out sorry"

was just about to go mental and tell them i would atleast want my money back when i see a second email saying: "i just checked with worldpay and it seems your money did come through.. ive refunded your card. sorry for the confusion"

....
2nd order @dubplate 2nd order fucked up.. why the fuck do they get all the exclusives -_-

I dont want to jynx myself *touches wood* but all mu orders have been fine.

Only one time when I ordered the magnetic man ep they sent me an email saying "sorry when you placed your order there was nothing in your cart" So I emailed them back saying it was that but its now sold out

Lucky they said that they kept a few copies back even though it said sold out and they sent it out the next day.

I have heard hundreds of bad stories though

it's something to do with:
a) they are the original store were you were able to listen to all the exclusives from the very beginning.
b) the store is owned by the same people who run Tempa.
c) the made some sort of deal with Tempa from the very beginning that they get all the exclusives.

It's totally gay.
Also i've had no problems what so ever and if you compare that to the amount of people who have had troubles with dubplate, it would be just silly.

Is the boycott happening?

They kept copies back because they knew that there would be fuck ups as always, and people would order and payment would not work.
If i had emailed the same thing i would have got one, it's a retarded system. They need to change to paypal.

hmmm, i get pissed off with the stickers they put on the sleeves, although that probably is quite a useful thing.
But nah i'm sticking to my guns, Redey is cheap and efficient.
SOTU can piss me off every now and again, sort of lazy on delivery and messed me around a few times.

Can we change the title of the thread to "slag off record stores" or "where you shop".
Actually there's probably already a thread about it and people will probably jump in a second later and shut it down stating - "please revive threads from 2years ago, thanks", or "please use the useless search function"

here here, chemical for the win, i have been buying from them since june 18th 2007 my first order was caspa ccokney violine nd benga invasion ep. i was gutted coz after placing my order i see tes la rok around the world girls ft uncle sam n didn't have the cash to buy. it sold out day or so later. however it did come back in stock a week or so later and i bagged that fucker with all my heart. more to the subject tho, dubplate.net i think they are ok, or they have been every time i use em. might place an order for a tune i can't get anywhere else 2night.

I keep the stickers on 2bh, espesh for the white labels. All you gotta do is peal them off! never leaves a sticker mark either.
I've found that sound of the universe are really good, i've only ordered from them a few times and they've been ok, spoke to a guy on the phone before and he was extremely sound.
