2 Eskmo remixes added to the myspaz

Post by eskmo / welder » Thu Apr 23, 2009 10:45 pm

I've done two recent remixes.

Backdraft: "Headcharge" (Eskmo remix) (DBP024)
J Rogers: "Meditation Point" (Eskmo remix) (BSD026)

The headcharge one is out end of the month, the meditation point just came out I believe in most stores.

I'm liking this new EP - Agnus Dei is a serious track! That remix of Speakers Corner still gets a regular workout round this way too - classic.
This is neither time or the place.

Big Ups, Eskmo is one of my favorite artists in any type of music. The sound design quality to the beats, the almost foley-like aspect to the layers, it's something to marvel at for anyone from the most open-minded and novice listener to even the most hard-working musician who is aiming to do exactly what Esmko does, create something new and yet untouched. The beats should be labeled with adjectives such as 'pristine' and 'intelligent,' the beats retain a 4th wall that many producers cannot even think how to build, and getting into his work is opening yourself to a full-on cerebral and psychoactive experience the likes of which are comparable to a sensory-deprivation chamber on LSD, Eskmo creates a vacuum for the listener to be fully absorbed and demolished. Huge, huge on my list.
