Post by beatlejuice » Tue Apr 28, 2009 7:45 am

If the ghost of 2step, that will bevan so eloquently buried in sth london, were reincarnated.

It would be born again in austin texas as VVV and sound like this...

yeah... there was so much potential left in UKG before it imploded that it's wicked to see it explored from the US without the stigma of 2steps posh female and aggy male dichotomy

LOL so you just started asking him all these questions via PM without him knowing he was being interviewed? what a cheesy tnuc!

poor guy answered 2 before before fleeing. if it was me, my first answer would probably be something like 'bunch of fluoride and crap just like everywhere else, now what the fuck is this all about?'

BIG UP VVV !

thanks cuz. it just seemed like a natural extension of what the net can and should do and i wanted a record of sorts for some of my hot picks for the future. I reckon everyone should give it a go!

making artists accessible and interesting beyond their music while relieving the tastemakers, the litterati and the blognoscenti of their privilege is hella fun. most seem so back asswards looking

i imagine artists would love to share more of their personality than just talk about their music in a straight promotional sense but maybe i'm wrong and if so i'll call it another hell science dept mistake

anyway i'm only interested in rising artists cos i've seen first hand how fame changes people and it's not pretty eh
