recently done a few tune, a friend of mine said they sounded too much like i was trying to be benga.
opinions on this?
ther in the player, starting at digFX and finish at les minimales.

I dont think so, I think your friend is missing the point that you are a good producer from what I hear. where abouts in Leeds u from? Im from moortown

thats what i thought, i could kinda see where he was comin from cos of the electro style basslines in some of them.

If anything the intro to digfx sounds like a jakes tune but it don't at the same time.

hey man these are some nice tunes... i would say you've definitely got your own style going.
some of the effects are a bit reminiscent of old Benga (and the beat to a lesser degree), but as its already been pointed out, thats not necessarily a bad thing... keep at em!

I can hear some benga-esque vibes, but it tells me that you are a good producer. Your friend is just hating plain and simple. I love the minimalness of the tunes, lots of space. I'd play any of them!
