It means proper badman 80s groove business - Evelyn King, Jimmy Ross, Denroy Morgan...

Disco is sick...point blank period.

Like all genres, it had its absolute nonsense and bullshit...but beneath the surface it had some true gems.

I still bump some italo-disco from time to time.

He played a disco set in Leicester a couple of weeks ago, was phat, definately a good laugh although I think a lot of people were expecting dubstep cos they didnt read the poster properly :?

i saw him play a disco set in bethnal green at a pub once. at some stage he dropped talking heads - once in a lifetime at which point i was compelled to loudly mimick the sound of gun shots... i'm not ashamed

Back in the dayz we used to sit cross legged in a circle at DMZ and signal the DJ with joss sticks.

Hmm... good tracks, but not exactly digging deep. Apart from the first two tracks, the mix is just some of the biggest tracks from West End Records. Why not just go and see a proper disco DJ? It's like going to watch Morgan Geist spin a dubstep set.
