Cubase SX3 CONTINUOUSLY resizes and moves the main arrange window, it fucking sucks.

Drives me up the bloody wall.

Is this just mine or everyones?

Any way of fixing ?

I don't get, why people are so obsessed with cubase?
My friend produces with SX3, and I find it garbage. It's workflow is so fucking ass-backwards, even adding instruments is a pain in the ass, everythin is so big, you run out of screen even on bigger resolutions, its automations are limited, and on top of that its a CPU and RAM hog.

When I used SX3 it didn't resize and move but I constantly HAD to resize and move it, the blocks just never seemed the right width or height! But no problems with 4, weird that!!

key point.

YOU find it garbage.

I dont. others too.

'obsessed' lol.

@legendary - i have to maxdimise the arrange window every time, go to mixer, come back, its all shrunk. getting a new monitor and gfx card changed the size of the 'shrunk' version but it always does that. very annoying.

Upgrading to v5 soon, hopeuflly that will sort it but i doubt it.

Ahhh yeah! what I did was not maximize it then drag it so its as big as you can drag it - it should solve it.

Minimise (that is, restore) window
set it to the size you want (ie make it as big as poss)
maximise
next time the window loses focus it goes to the size you want it to.

Ths only time this changes is when you resize it. Don't blame Cubase for the fact you're a moron :6:

My annoyances: Morons who blame software for their own failings :6: :6: :6:

making a good track, with lots of plugins, maxing out at around 90% cpu but running & playing fine...

then going to re-load the track to continue working, and it maxes out the cpu constantly and is impossible to work with except by exporting stems

:x  :x  properly pisses me off...done this to ALL my favourite tunes...or lost the files or something else stupid

`i didnt realise sizing it to as big as possible would stay - a distinct improvement - going from 1024x768 to 1920x1200 has reeeeally f'ed it up.

You mean loading older projects/templates? Just resave them with the new initial window size and you're away :)
