I've got one of the original Remote25's (No 231 I think - lol) and its still as good as when it was new. I've had other controllers that start acting up as they grow old but this thing just loves life. I've used it nearly every day since I got it and all the pots, faders and keys are fine.

Got a Nocturn too as Automap (as already stated) is indeed the nuts 8)

If I'm honest, I don't think the Nocturn will last but I may be wrong. It feels very 'fragile' and as I gig with it, it just gets chucked in my bag with my Mac & interface, headphones, cables, smokes etc and the cross-fader often looks like it being squashed or taking a load when I get it out (oo-eerrrr!!).

Could do with a cover or box to transport it in but it was cheap (£60) so I ain't gonna complain too much and to be fair, its gets a hammering as a mixer and I've destroyed plenty of them over the years including quality brands like Vestax & Ecler. If I broke the X-fader, I would still use the knobs to control plugins etc.

Just MHO.

I don't have any sliders/faders on my current controller... i really wish i did.
yeah sliders. faders is proper name :P

see on right. shite little plastic things. Well they work, not much travel and 'feedback' (how they feel) is a bit crap. Better than the drumpads tho, like hitting bits of wood.

the MK2 version looks a lot better.

could use a MPD myself.. love the keys and banks of faders on the Kontrol49, but the pads are really only good as buttons and the knobs are shite
