its wrong to sell this release.
CJ Bolland and Goldie are both still active artists
you are making yourself look like a prick
it seems that the only way you can get people to rate your below par production is to steal someone elses inspiration.
you should stop selling these trax and give them away as dubs.
total wasteman.

the point is those war releases are listed as NOT ON LABEL ie,they are not promoting a commercial outlet.in this case Kraken recds.
using an accapella and then just sticking it out as a white is all good.
using the same track titles and lifting chunks of the original on a promoted release on a 'label' is the waste part.
this guy should have contacted goldie with this refix and if he said that it was ok then he should have released it ,otherwise he should have pressed it up onto vinyl on a white label and kept his mouth shut.

i gotta put my 2 cents in though, Goldie is the shit! SUPER SUPER SUPER cool guy. But I ain't about to criticize if he needs to handle his business.
Maybe people aren't cool with it because this is a remix, and the only reason why most artists are allowed to remix a track is because that is another way of exposure and whatnot. However, you remixed his track and is now selling it as your own. Under the same name. Without permission from the Golden one. (I am assuming due to what you've said. )Now come on.
But hey, correct me if i am wrong.

THIS RELEASE HAS NOTHING (I REPEAT NOTHING!!!!!!!) TO DO WITH KRAKEN RECORDINGS!

a lot of dubstep and dnb tunes are bootlegs and remix's..a lot of them are sold and played out with no royalties paid .. so honestly how is this any different ? how can you possibly say its okay to use one persons tune and not anothers? and how can you say its ok to release a bootleg on vinyl but not digitally ?

its a tuff one cos as far as i was told (from a very good source), he never paid the singer any money or royalties, and he wasn't the person who wrote the tune either so iono if its a case of reap what you sow
