I listen to every kind of music.

Be it Punk, Gospel, folk, Jazz, Bluegrass, Metal, Gabba, Reggae etc etc..

The way I think about it is, all music is for everyone.

You might favour a particular style, everybody does, but don't sign off genres cos "that music is crap".

(I used to say I hated all country and western, but a friend hooked me up with a cd that I love.)

It's all about finding the stuff that suits you within any genre.*

*if you can be bothered.

You'll have to wise me to that CD, b/c I really can't stand country :D

Other than that, my music tastes are all over.... I'm really psyched b/c I just brought up a boxload of old cassettes tapes I had sitting at my parents house. Bunch of old r&b, hip-hop, house, freestyle, and go-go tapes I haven't listened to in AGES. Hopefully my computer will rescue them all in time.

baaaaaahahaha this talk about genres gives me jokes. how the fuck are we gonna catalogue and write about music when it hasnt got a name?

anyway, im into every little ting:

uk garage, grime, jungle, underground hip hop from all over the globe, reggae, dub and dancehall from Danny I to Half Pint to Linval to Capleton, broken beats, anythin downtempo, jazz, from swing to post-bop to fusion (not a fan of hard bop however), was well into grunge at one point and dont mind a bit of punk or thrash now and then, but still i love my progressive shit technically, (from dream theater to ozric tentacles to fuckin BLAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH) i like anything thats genuine, and i agree about the techno thing...

YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

used to be all I listened to, with a little thug hop thrown in for good measure, mostly Aussie/local stuff, Mindsnare, Toe to Toe, Within Blood, The Wolves, very much in the Raised Fist / Hatebreed mold, hardcore got (is) very metal in oz but the whole screamcore/emo ting has killed it a bit, when the make-up became the norm. I had to bail on that scene ... the odd 'proper' hardcore show is still the heaviest dancehall vibe we git daan ere
