Dolphin is a Planet Mu artist who has moved from hard dnb and gabba into a more dubstep-sounding direction.

his shit is hard as nails as you can imagine. check out Mimulus and Dubcore on his Myspazz:

thanks for the kind words, Fully & GH :-)

combat10 and combat09 are (finally!) being pressed, will put a post up about it very soon.

Alreayd mentioned by others... Some other wicked labels pushing the hard halfstep angle - they tend to be run by crews with backgrounds in old hardcore, electro and old skool drum n bass - thus the styles vary between releases, but their more recent tracks tracks will sit well in a hard/dark dubstep set:

Dirty Needles (a series of 4 track EPs)
new EP now out with ScanOne, Crookid Man, Blackmass Plastics and Warlock

Rag and Bone Records
Their new Drop the Lime & FZV 12"s are killer... but also backtrack to Warlock's Dog Tracks (Rag n Bone #3) which is proper ruff garage.

Thorn Industries (run by Blackmass Plastics)
Look out for the "Hellmaster" halfstep which samples Spawn.. nasty

Quiet Storm - been hearing his new tracks out at gigs... very very sick beats

Milanese's new split 12" on MG77 is proper sickness.

Si Begg's new 12" "My Style" on Noodles is filthy grimey breakage.

Skull Disco

Mathhead (sick sick producer!)

Ekaros (hold tight... his track has been cut to test press for COMBAT11)

Been playing a lot of tracks by HENCH crew as well. Especially into Komonasmuk, Headhunter and Tech Itch. Some dubsteppers don't seem to like Tech Itch but I think 'Know' is a sick sick tune...been dropping it loads.

here's a recent radio set you guys might be into... it's got the vibe of the tracks mentioned above.

http://www.play.fm/playfm_artists.php?p_id=2540
will post a tracklist soon as my fucking home internet is working again!

back to work now...

Blackmass remix of 'Leviathan' by FZV is heavy duty.

The Blackmass remix of 'Tek Tech' is on an evil bastard half step tip and a personal fave

You can buy lossless FLACs ---> http://www.addictech.com/store/advanced ... nce%20Dept for the Hell Science Beats.

They're good guys.

And just a note, if you're from the UK pollywog sounds like a racist slur,

if you're from anywhere else in the English speaking world its a cute name for a tadpole, you know, baby frogs.

Found out with some amusement that pollywogs were also involved in the line-crossing ceremony http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crossing_the_equator - not that they'd know anything about that

I heard they were going to market themselves exclusively to the whitepower set for a laugh.
