Snoop Dogg, Lil John, Pharrell?

I'd like to see Black Thought from the Roots, Del, Nas, Talib, Grouch, Brother Ali, Mos Def.

Is that too much to ask?

Personally I'd like to hear:

Tame One
Z-Ro (chopped and screwed works well)
Planet Asia
Murs
Buckshot (that voice fits perfect)

to name a few....

Most of the dope mc's are spitting on more loike 85-95 BPM more of the boom bap feel and of course the cornball top 40 dudes are on the 65-75 Bpm or double that. I am working on an album right now with a lot of the dope underground hip hop mcs. Hopefully you will enjoy it

I have to agree with Prolific, the tempo really has a lot to do with it. All dubstep emceeing is done at half time or double-time when compared to your average hip hop vocals, so you really gotta be a pro to make it work.

But as I said in the Snoop thread, most major label rappers could give two shits about trying something outside of their precious moneymaking formula. "Rap" as an artistic movement has been dead for a while now, and is mainly for suburbite cogs too young or stupid to think for themselves.

Mainstream America just isn't ready for dubstep. I feel it will go the road of drum n bass -- there will be a few brave souls attempting to mash styles together, but their work won't ever make it to the Top 40.

These consumers in large are too fuckin tasteless, and require that you keep it simple and familiar.

Murs has already recorded a track.

There's a lot of interesting stuff being thrown together for this mixtape in the states. I don't have as much to do with the CD as originally but what I have heard so far sounds good.

Grustle Boys and The Russian are putting it all together now.

Murs on dubstep could be interesting still, never heard him spitting at 140 but no doubt he's a talented MC - the '3.16' album is BAD

Still... it's funny how some people HATE on British MCs on dubstep, who have probably come through, and respect, the scene but are quick to wank over big name American rappers cashing on dubstep production. The only Americans I'd be REALLY interested in hearing on dubstep/grime production would be Twista or Busta though, they've got the flow for it

Have you got a link for that Wiley and Kode set? I haven't heard it in time.

On that subject, is there anywhere I can hear the Loefah rmx of Nasty Crew?

Still am in part quite a big hand in it but I think the guys on the other side of the pond are keeping a lot of it to their chests now, its hard to play a big role in something you can't physically control and I like to be there in person when I am putting my name to a project. Like when vocals are being recorded over my tracks I would like to be there to actually produce the recording session - its the same with creating a mixtape.
