'established' renoise users? :)
So, I've opt the idea to the fabulous people behind renoise to look into the possibility releasing a compilation cd featuring 'established' and unsigned renoise users for promotional sake with the upcoming release of renoise 1.8 .
Maybe create some kind of contest, let people on the forum vote etc blah, all to generate more interest for a program that hardly gets in the magazines, but deserves the attention imo.
While a hardcopy release probably wont make it, a web release is a possibility. The response I got from the main renoise developer is that they're looking into the idea of creating artist pages on the renoise website with a possibilty for a webrelease in the future. What is needed is names of 'established' artists using renoise in their releases, so they can be contacted if they're interested in having an artist page on the renoise site.
Other then Venetian Snares & Enduser, does anybody here know of other 'known' artists using renoise (in whatever genre, and where they can be contacted) ?
grts

ASC of drum & bass fame uses Renoise. You can contact him on the forum via PM here - http://dubstepforum.com/privmsg.php?mode=post&u=61724.
You might have better luck asking this on the production forum, or even the Renoise forums.
