back with another pair of holy rollers for our second release; those
of you who copped the first one (nice one by the way!) will know what
kind of a flex these two bits are on; it's all about keeping it varied
and keeping the quality up where it belongs for maximum impact. Once
again we're all about bringing you mid tempo dance music with no
agenda, no image and zero gimmicks or trickery; bringing you broken
beats that don't fit into any fake ass categories and that have been
thoroughly road tested in lab conditions front of hordes of drunken
beat heads.
First of all comes label head honcho Ricky Force with a beast of a
tune called "Underground", a low-slung rave banger that suits it's
name perfectly, being a filthy concoction of ravey breaks, gutter punk
bassbin rattling badness and rude boy samples that add up to the aural
equivalent of renting an Austrian basement on your summer holidays.
Label newcomer Fushara's "Machine Love" flips the script, with Detroit
vibes shattered by nervous tension as fidgety edits and thoughtful
bass combine into a tautly focused essay on the lonely soul of a robot
refracted through rhythm.
