i dont like listening to it anymore, and making it is just effort.... does anyone else agree? maybe i need to give the bass a break. every night i go to is full of ket heads and i havent heard a decent production in time. help people! for the love of dubstep init.

You probably do need a break from it, or maybe you just need to listen to some different artists than you've been listening to.

a lot of good ones for sure, but I'm not hearing many tunes that are worthy of instant classic status. :? maybe I just need to let them sink in a bit.

I have this feeling too sometimes! Just lay it aside for a few days, or until you are in another mood, then go back to it.

music shouldn't be chore - you like it or you don't.
if you only listen to one genre of course you're gonna get sick of it

when i get a little bored of any kind of electronic music i usually put on some funk, reggae, death metal, or bluegrass. so yeah, just listen to somethin else you like for a bit

I don't listen to dubstep all the time and I don't listen to much electronic music other than dubstep. I learned my lesson listening to too much dnb for like a 10 year stretch. Now my brain automatically ignores anything around 174bpm. But on the occasion dubstep isn't doing it for me it forces me to dig a little deeper and invariably I find something interesting.

i listen to polka and opera 24/7 and only break for when i'm working on a new tune

As someone else said ill usually listen to something like Flying Lotus or Evol Intent when i need a bit of a break and once im over it completely for a bit go back to Aus Hip Hop.
