What happened to that fly-lo/burial tune?

Post by computer rock » Wed May 13, 2009 9:51 pm

About a month or two ago flying lotus had a tune on his myspace player that was titled 'burial4/4' or something like that. It had really, really lopsided 2-step kinda beat that came in frantic bursts and sounded very burial-eqsue.

Does anyone else remember this? or know what happened to it? it really sounded like something else

Back in the dayz we used to sit cross legged in a circle at DMZ and signal the DJ with joss sticks.

Speaking of FlyLo Burial remixes, does anyone know if that remix of Archangel is ever gonna see a proper release?

Yeah, it's a remix FlyLo did of a Burial tune. He drops it in his live sets fairly often.

there were rumours of them working on some collab stuff together. having seen a few of flylo's sets now there's more than one track he plays that has a slightly burial feel to it. some tracks could just come out of the blue like that burial/four-tet release.
