was that while you were sucking him off?
i personally would be devastated if burial was goldie, im pretty gutted that goldie is goldie to be fair, did everyone hear about him shamelessly kicking a man down a flight of stairs and kicking him in the head while he was at bottom of said steps?! for remixing his tune and giving it to a couple of djs? im gutted that the man that made inner city life has that inside him
this is the whole point about the non-identity thing, it removes from the majesty of music to pinpoint it to an individual... like burial said, he had all this inspiring imagery of this mysterious photek created by the music, then he found out its a guy called rupert from ipswich in his bedroom. likewise, think what inner city life does to you, but then in fact its made by this aggy unreasonable violent chief... i could have done without knowing that

alright, jeez, here's what you all want to know...
burial's real name is perceval tramweigh. he lives in modest but appealing accommodations just off orpington high street. tuesdays through saturdays he takes the number 61 bus to his job (which he doesn't half mind) in bromley. sometimes he finds the ride a bit long. one time he saw doc scott at his local curry take out but wasn't sure what to say to him. he has two sisters and is a sagitarius. one day, he would like to see eastern europe.
thus the wondrous sounds of burial.

Buria
L is L- B
he bucked and buried the ghost of his beats under a tone of filtering but you can't mask the coldness of a genre genius jaded by the death of a loved one

not sure if goldie really did make inner city life, not wothout serious help from Rob Playford etc. Listen to his 2nd album (even though alot of that admits to being collaborative too) and you'll hear how really sh*t at music goldie actually was / is.

just reading the back of one of my copies (of terminator) and it say's:
written & produced by: Goldie, Dj Freebass and Markus Rutherford
As far as I'm aware (unlike food ingredients) they don't have to be listed with the greatest amount first.
Listen to everything you think is Goldie, look at who it's been collaborated with and then decide for yourself. Don't get me wrong, Goldie ran a f*cking mental label and club night for years- props are due. But I also think 'his' music was very cleverly marketed.

Oh, he's been a busy chap let's face it. I think Goldie was more of an executive producer, but Playford actually did the sound-design and production end of things. I get the feeling that Goldie was the one directing what sounds to be introduced and the flow of the tune.
Seemed to get some good results at the time (maybe not for the jungle purists) so I think he must have done some good, but he's not really done anything much without him that was much good as far as I'm aware
Hmm....
