Generally, MCs who are actually into & understand dubstep will do a good job, whether they are out & out hosts, or more lyrical... what normally fucks it up is grime or DnB MCs who think they can switch styles with no regard for what the ravers (or DJ) wants...

I had to learn the hard way about letting the music do (most of) the talking, but it's a lesson I'm glad I've learnt!!

More than one MC on a set takes serious professionalism - there's only one or two MCs outside my own crew I like working with, or feel comfortable sharing mic with

You lot need to look beyond London by the way - West Country's got some of the best dubstep MCs/hosts

I've got to say that I really think it sounds shit when crazy d does that. Everything else he does i think is sick but that woah woah woah thing is just shit imo.

I 100% agree with Host>mc.
Poaks smashes it also imo

where's my Roots Manuva dubstep tune? I heard a dubstep remix of one of his tracks, not nearly as impressive as if he were to do the beat production himself.

biggest thing IMO is that the MC should KNOW the tune, or STFU.

fucking up drops and spitting over parts that should be spat on is very annoying
