A brand new audio/visual night of dub/techno/bass takes hold at Cable this May in the form of the chest shaking platonic.
Taking place on bank holiday Sunday 24th May, platonic’s launch will coincide with the opening weekend of Cable, with an evening of innovative DJ’s and producers performing alongside the breathtaking visuals of London-based artist Karborn. Karborn’s work “tells the everyday stories of the city, transposing them into an ethereal realm of quiet beauty” which perfectly matches the artists playing on the night.

The line-up spans the finest purveyors of dub-related club music, from the deep medi vibrations of Digital Mystikz’s Mala, through Manchester’s electronica wizard Claro Interlecto, with LuckyMe mainstay Rustie, to the acid-drenched performance of Redshape and 180bpm magic of Lynx and Marcus Intalex. Fusing deep bass hypnotics and dazzling visual artistry, platonic offers a sensory experience that is new, bold and original.
