skateboarding, anyone on here into it? i stopped a couple of years ago but im thinking of starting again thought i might see if any of you geezers are into it?

Used to blade instead, then broke my arm trying to drop a half pipe.
Tbh I had more fun trying to see how fast i could go, so i suppose I was into the geeky side of blading- speed skating woo

Tried it for a bit, and just didn't like the idea that to progress, I was gonna get fucked up haha

Still enjoy watching it though, fully flared was probably the last skate film I watched though, s'like a whole new level!

i started skating when i was 8, stop a year ago.

too lazy these days, need to take it back up really.


on the old thing, my next door naighbour is an ex pro skater from the oldskool days...i think he is in 40's now still goes skating on the regular and can show me up with his fitness and skills obviously :lol:

Used to skate a bit as a teenager and took it back up when I moved to London, more as a means of getting around than anything else.... amazing how quickly you can navigate a city on a skateboard!

Pretty shit since I restarted though... need a day in a park to get back into it properly, tbh..

A bit when I was younger. Couldn't be arsed with the effort, no-one else in my area skated after my mate moved away.

Used to skate, (play roller/ice hockey too) but busted my knee in a car accident, so not skated in any competitive form since 1999.

started skating again about 6 months ago and fell awkwardly a couple of times but have slowly been getting back into it.

used to skate inline back in the day and i feel to get back on it still
anyone know what skates are doing these days? i used to have some
k2 fatty sc back in the day but i would like to see what new skates are about now still
