did you all hear that FOX had made a pilot for an american version of spaced, directed by the same guy who did charlie's angels?
Simon pegg, Edgar Wright and Jessica Stevenson had nothing to do with it and openly dismissed it, something to do with the early budget copywrights they had on the series (as they never expected it to be a success) so fox could go on using the spaced franchise to make a shitty version

fortunately for everyone involved the pilot was so wank they pulled it!

yeah i saw simon pegg on jonathan ross mention this - he agrees on it being wank from what i gather too :lol:

haha yeah, when the Irish matey is their house after going clubbing and starts dancing to the phone ringing loool so many funny moments I can relate to in that episode
