Loosely described as Dubstep, Broken Note combine the dark and aggressive beats that are found in Breakcore & Jungle. Receiving love from the likes of Mary-Anne Hobbs, Amon Tobin, & Boxcutter these lad's mash up of everything from dark dubstep to hard-techno, the most evil D’n’B to hardcore....not for the feint of heart!
Their subsonic pounding has been setting dance floors across Europe on fire with it's astonishing heaviness, imagine a combination of Vex’d, Raiden and Rotator and you are probably half-way to understanding their sound.

J DA FLEX

For those that don't know, J Da Flex began making moves back in 1998 as the UK garage scene started bubbling.
Working alongside fellow scene veteran El-B, Jay helped set up the infamous & influential Ghost Record label, that gave a kick start to the dubstep scene and etched a permanent mark on the sound that has since developed and expanded to what we know and love today!
J deliver's a special blend of upfront future funk, broken beats, dubstep, and is known to inspire dance floors from Cape Town to Estonia.
Playing seminal London clubs such as Fabric, Ministry of Sound, The Egg; with residencies at Forward>>, Thriller Funk, and Tempo Tantrum, recently Jay has joined the legendary broken-beat night Co-Op as one of their rotational DJs and is also known to flex his heavy injection of bouncing breaks, drum & bass and tech house.
Bassface, give this man the L.A welcome he deserves!!!
