Trying to organise a part sonar part skating trip, if you didn't know it's pretty much the best skating city in the world, spots everywhere. How much did it cost you guys in P's? Many tickets left?

Not really dubstep but there's an off Sonar Brainfeeder night on the thursday. Though the only information i can find about it at the moment is an event listing on Flylo's myspace.

Can someone who's been to Sonar before give me an idea of what goes on?

Like, what time does Sonar by Night start/finish, how limited are the capacities of the Sonar by Day events, what other stuff apart from the music is going on at the site, are there big ques to get into the main area?

Not too long to go now!

You won't be able to skate MACBA though cause it's in the middle of Sonar By Day.

SAY WHAT! There's loads of spots about anyway. The 4 is a bit out of the way too.

My first trip to Sonar. Just booked flights and was wondering about the above as well. Especially about the queues... is it hard to get in to some of the events?

Also do bags need to be checked in or ok to walk around with backpack? (I generally like to keep all my stuff on me.)

Thanks & see you there.

Advance tickets are £15. I'd advise getting them if you want to attend. This will be jam packed and probably sold out in advance, the venue isn't that big.

Ideally you should buy your tickets in advance, as usually one of the nights sells out. You can walk in with a back pack no problem, and a lot of the time they don't even search it. We often filla backpack with ice and cans of beer

The queues to get in to the venues are generally pretty feeble, but the queue to collect you tickets is fucking hell if you don't turn up early enough. We're talking 2-3 hours wait in the baking sun.

Sonar by night usually starts at about 11 and goes on till about 8am the next day.
