33 or 45 rpm

Post by d.same » Sat Oct 28, 2006 11:36 am

Hi,
guess you heard the question a thousand times ...
Do the Tectonics 10´´s run on 33 or 45 rpm ? (e.g. skream - bahl fwd / distance - temptation). How do you play the BOKA 12´´007 Ruggard EP, 45 or 33 rpm? Finally it would be nice if someone could confirm that Geeneus - Congo on Tempa 012 IS running on 45 rpm (fits to the anti war dub so nice !).

Ok call me a greenhorn ... anyway would be very nice if u could help I up the beat.

yeah listen to the noises surely you gotta be able to tell?!

if it beat matches anti war then its all good..
usually if its 2 tunes on a 12" or 1 on a 10" its 33, or 1 tune a side on a 12 its 45..

If TEC008 runs at 33 then that's a bit silly, tune is much better at 45...

@ d.same - if it's dubstep it's going to be around 137-140 BPM with almost no exceptions. so if you can't tell by listening you can always try lining it up with a track on the other deck.

Sorry that was out of order. You should be able to tell though. There's quite a big between 33 and 45. :x

Yeah but if you had 33 sexually transmitted diseases, you might not notice 12 more.

And I definitely wouldn't notice the difference between £33 worth of 2p's and £45 worth of 5p's.

Easily confused.
