How to get hold of DUBs?

Post by breeeeza » Mon Jun 08, 2009 9:42 pm

How do you get hold of dubs? if a tune doesnt end up getting released then how can you get hold of it?
I persume big artists pass round 12" plates to other big artists to test the water and then if they are up to par they end up getting released on some label or other but how do people go around getting dubs from any artists big or small, do you just ask the artist to send the tune and then burn it to cd or get a vinyl cut or whattt?
there are too many tunes that i cant get hold of that i need.
easy, breeeeza.

Snatch the dubplate from the turntable while the DJ turns his back to select the next record.

I did contemplate this for a bit once while Skream was playing his Killer Sounds remix. The only problem was: I just couldn't bring myself to stop the tune.
