Cogent - My first Promo Mix

Post by cogent » Mon Oct 16, 2006 9:57 pm

Ez, I've finally got round to recording a mix.. I've borrowed some 1210's so only been mixing properly for 6 months but hopefully it will be the first of many.. One or 2 mistakes but other than that i'm ok with it...

Also been cutting so there's a few of my tracks included, strictly vinyl.. large up Henry @ Dubstudio for the cuts..

Feel free to leave comments.. (sorry for the megaupload, if anyone wants to host it for me get in touch)

nice first mix man! just finished listening to it, i liked your tunes in there too - are they available for download anywhere?

only constructive criticism of the mix was one or two cuts (warning into taken) where the cut was kind of drastic in the sound vibe... but thats just being picky :)

lookin forward to the next one!

Nice mix, liking that "Tribe" tune of yours, stands up well against all the other tracks. The mixing as mentioned is a bit abrupt, perhaps blending tracks in for longer before they drop and using eq to help tunes drop into eachother, but yeah, its nice, good selection similar to mine.

Oh and out of interest which part of North hants are you from?
