Removing NI Massive

Post by chubzilla » Wed Jun 10, 2009 10:10 pm

So basically, NI Massive keeps crashing in Logic and i'm getting pig-sick of it. So how do I remove NI Massive completely so that not only is it off my macbooks hard-drive but so I also can't choose it in Logic?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Best way to fix that crashing issue is to not use teh warez version.

Paid version = no crashy.

yeah thats the reason I want to get rid of it. I've just come into a bit of money and I'd rather buy the retail version.

Depone wrote:actually. to stop this crash you goto

Users--> (your username) -->library --> application support --> Native instruments --> massive --> then delete the file called "NIMassiveDataBase_mi"

This will stop the crashing, and all it will do is force massive to rebuild its database of files. Problem solved!!!!
Thanks for the help mate!!

you could also rebuild the database file. That tends to fix mine. I had it crash on me once, rebuilt the database file, hasn't done it since.

when i save a certain tune ive been working on, massive never remembers the lfo i set on it and i always have to put the lfo back on, its an easy fix and it remembers everything else on the synth just not the lfo.

Anybody know how to use this fix in XP? Massive crashes on preset loading... :S

Rebuilding database didn't help so I'm looking for the windows equivalent of the database file I guess ...
