RECOMMENDATIONS FOR LISTENERS NEW TO DUBSTEP

Post by blackfrancisou812 » Tue Oct 31, 2006 4:20 am

Greetings brothers and sisters!
I have only recently discovered Dubstep,(Yea, I live in the States) and I am hoping someone out there can recommend some artists to look into. I prefer the dark, slow, heavy bass style. Also, recommending stuff that is distributed in the States, preferably releases that can be purchased on Amazon.com or another online store would be very helpful.

Nothing but love for everyone!

i'm relatively new to the dubstep sound and my exposure to it came through this woman's radio show - Mary Anne Hobbs - she is a goddess - www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/maryannehobbs

her new Warrior Dubz album is well worth checking out.

recent albums i bought:
- Dubstep Allstars 3 and 4 (i prefer 3)
- Burial's album
- Skream's album

you should be able to pick most of them up through amazon and are all well worth checking out.
