I've been experimenting with double drops of like, Hamas Rule with some other stuff, but it's way harder than doing it with bangers with huge bass drops.Signus wrote:Does no one like double dropping anything that isn't outrageously rowdy?

Give me a jungle or garage beat and admit defeat.

Technical Itch - Winter goes quite well with it but it's really hard to find a place to drop hamas rule into? This is bearing in mind I'm only silly bedroom dj'ing and even that only for a month or so.
Tried it with some stuff of Pinch's album too which was a bit meh but someone better than me might manage it

Yes, you can do some really nice stuff with some of the more minimal/techy kind of stuff.Signus wrote:Does no one like double dropping anything that isn't outrageously rowdy?
If I've interpreted the meaning of a double-drop correctly, ie. having breakdowns of 2 tunes playing simultaneously then both dropping at the same time, then I've managed a nice one on this mix...

Don't have great lengths yet so I'm not sure, but percression > elden street could sound lush. Buzzin<>Night I've done too obviously, thing is that mix lends itself to a long blend because they go together so well.
