We're paying homage to one of our favorite tunes, we wouldn't have bothered sending it out unless we thought we did a decent job...so sod off the lot of you ;)
People in music should be able to take criticism.. not everyone is gonna like every tune you make, that's just a fact.
I've heard this tune, even though it wasn't a big system, you can conclude that it's just not right... that song was so musical and emotional when it first came out and making it into a party tune is just pissing on the grave of garage.
If you don't want to take the criticism, don't check the thread...
Sick track one of my favourite Nero tunes I dont think its pissing on the grave of garage any more than using amen samples is pissing on disco. Keep your toys in the pram Dan don't let the haters get to you lol!

In my opinion, it was bound to go off - the Sincere vocals matched with a dutty drop. Nothing groundbreaking at all really.

Do people realise how groundbreaking Sincere was when it came out ? One of the best pieces of dance music ever made in my opinion. There's even some joker in the Skream FWD topic saying this remix is better than the original!! :o
no way can a dubstep remix of a garage classic can EVER touch the original. every genre u see around u right now originated from 1 place...GARAGE.

Garage comes from house, comes from techno, comes from drum n bass... not the other way around.

Just like to add everything started with House in the 1970s then moved on to techno in the mid 80s but the uk sound first came about around 1992 - 94 when a lot of uk djs were playing US house and US garage but playing it at a slightly faster speed as it was normally between 120 - 128 as more and more uk producers started making the sound the speed was between 128 - 135 but this is when uk garage was a genre in its own right. then its all morphed off in to the sounds we have today.

i admit
anybody taking on teh challange of remiing this tune is biting off a mouthfull
but if theres anybody that can do it its nero
i hated the idea of a blinded by the lights remix, until i heard neros version
granted, the originals a classic, but why not try make a version for the dubstep massive
Like i say
i'm sure nero will do it justice
I just wish they'd let me play it out!!!!!!!!!
hoep this gets a release

i wouldn't even compare the nero remix to the original, they're both completely different tunes with the same vocal.

fair does the original was a killer track but this remix is still a big tune in its own right

although 2bf i kinda get the point of the people saying it shouldnt be touched, they just miss the good old garage days thats all...

anyway nuff chit chat, big tune :!:

just sounds like a standard dubstep tune with a slightly above average intro. what's the big deal? i don't see anyone other than people that knew the original (95% of them from the UK) getting all that into it, tbh.

wookie influenced a generation of producers. period. no one's saying that you can't remix the tune, its more that a tune like sincere has got tons of memories attached for anyone who was into UKG and 2step. its just hard to picture it. there's so much legacy involved that you better deliver the goods or don't even try it. its like hearing people try and do bob marley remixing and making it nothing but cringe worthy.

After listening to the recording of FWD a week ago, I take back what I said earlier. I'm not really into this.

Oh well! :P
