Easy way to do automation on Cubase

In my cubase the automation lane does not 'pop open' - it remains hidden - but it's first on the drop down now which is nice.

No worries man! Oh ye the way i worded it made it seem as though the channel drops down, but yeah you have to select "show all automation" as Deadly Habit said.

i use both
wacom comes in handy for doing the base work i can come back and smooth later, that and drawing some custom shapes easier than with a mouse

that sounds great. I'm using cubase sx 3. I'll check if i can do that now.......

you can upgrade to C5...its pretty cheap now, I think like $200 or something.
