dont get me wrong, im glad i paid the money, but the fact it got another official release shits me!

Come on now Kizza.................at least folk who couldn't afford to pay up the ass for it can now pay a reasonable price. I too have the stamped original and I can't really say I'm that bothered.

The original will still be the original and a collectors item for sure.

yeah, but i was ultimately under the impression that i was joining a club of awesomeness that was exclusive only to the real men who purchased the 500 pressing original. the fact that now chemical has allowed others into this club kind of pisses me off.

Really? The mp3 was leaked and blogged widely before the 12"s were on sale. I can't think of a less exclusive tune to shell out on a promo of.

After a label signs a track, in most cases they can do what they like with it, including license it to other labels, repress it, press it to their sister label vinyl en masse, etc...

It is no longer in the artist's hands.

Most artist's loot is made on DJ gigs. Vinyl gets your name out, which may land you the gigs, but usually doesnt pay the bills alone, even if you are huge.

agreed, probably the only dubstep tune i don't really like, pretty epic when it goes off in a club, but still....
