As someone who is a fucking Burial FIEND, even I will say that Synkro, while definitely INFLUENCED by Burial in very obvious ways, is not derivative. He's a lot cleaner than Burial is. A lot more pleasant. Burial somehow manages to be more memorable, instantly rewarding and darker, as well, but I'm not saying that to hate on Synkro at all, he's one of my favorite producers. I think people are just a bit too quick to label him a Burial wanna-be. He ain't no Slew, you can belee' dat.

People are too quick to come at producers with that "lol u wanna be Burial" bullshit, it's like anything with a remotely dreamy atmosphere and emotional tone that isn't on some retarded club shit or warped vocals that aren't obnoxious is automatically written off as being derivative.

Ahh i feel u man.

untrue came out the same time my bird split up with me

as soon as the new albums out its goin straight on the ipod. Its the perfecrt time of year / weather for it.

Its funny I used to never get taxis back when it first came out, because I used to enjoy walkin home so much with it on the ipod. Through the dark, quiet city streets.

haha what a sap :P
