Cloaks - Versus Grain LP

Post by planta » Wed Jun 24, 2009 3:26 pm

Couldn't see a thread for this yet,

Just listening to the previews on chemical, this CD f*ckin' disgusting, defo bag!

proper raw tunes, love Cloaks' style pure gritty filth

anyone know if it's gonna see wax??

Still can't get enough of the 'Against / Rust on Metal' 12"

Cloaks = badman

Yeah,sickness.

There's going to be more vinyl coming soon but I don't think the full album will see a vinyl release (but I could be wrong).

There will be no vinyl version of the LP I'm afraid.

The digital drops 13th July.

A second 12" from the album containing "Junk" and "R.F.I.D." also drops 13th July.

Watch this space for future 3by3 releases from some other destructive artists.

Dead Fader are next!!!!!

my one sentence review:

It's a bit like if Hellfish or Producer had taken to doing dubstep.

(I mean that in a good way, though I haven't heard anything recent from the 2 of them)

Not in the slightest.

This has a properly industrial sound that bears no resemblence to the production line deathchant hip hop / hardcore. Its more like Bombardier/13th hour doing dubstep (not many people here will know who he is,he hasnt been on planet mu)

this one deserves another bump

the darkest *dubstep* (?) album since Scorn's Stealth (and Somatic Response's Reformation)
"f*ck dubstep. It's played almost exclusively by self indulgent wannabe losers"

amen
