For the jokers, it's really unwarranted. That guy did more for music, gave up more for music, changed the world more with his than anyone on the planet. I would say the world changed for the better because of him.

Thriller is the best selling album of all time, you probably can't even find it in a store today even though it is always in stock. He'll probably be charting every release he ever had this week. Understand what an impact he made on so many lives. If he's not your favorite performer, he's one of your top 3 favorite performers' favorite performer. Transcending genre.

It's really easy to say "he chose this life" when thinking about how he was constantly hounded and how he chose to seek attention. Think about the logistics of him trying to drop off the map... how could he ever lower his profile enough to drop out of the news and just be normal? He was in debt up to his ass because people leeched off of him and abused him his entire childhood. Then continued into his adult life. It's not any wonder that he wanted to be a kid when he grew up.

It's just a reminder what fucking barbarians there are out there, who would take such advantage of him. I truly believe that at a certain point he didn't have any option of a normal life and so he rocked it til the fuckin wheels fell off. The world is rightfully in mourning. People will point out all of the other people dying around the world, and say that Michael Jackson is but one man... to them I say exactly... if one man is that valuable to the world, his death highlights what potential we lose with the death of any individual on this earth.

Hopefully this event can be somewhat instructive. And anyone who isn't feeling the loss right now needs to sit down with his discography from beginning to end and then pop in a DVD of one of his concerts and see what a real performer looks like. I'm not sure if it's been mentioned, but he came from a time when autotune wasn't an option. Natural singing ability that is unmatched. Dance moved that are unmatched. Years of grinding as a kid. Singers today cannot compete. Singers back then couldn't compete.

Finally RIP Michael.

There's A Place In
Your Heart
And I Know That It Is Love
And This Place Could
Be Much
Brighter Than Tomorrow
And If You Really Try
You'll Find There's No Need
To Cry
In This Place You'll Feel
There's No Hurt Or Sorrow

There Are Ways
To Get There
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Little Space
Make A Better Place...

Heal The World
Make It A Better Place
For You And For Me
And The Entire Human Race
There Are People Dying
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Better Place
For You And For Me

If You Want To Know Why
There's A Love That
Cannot Lie
Love Is Strong
It Only Cares For
Joyful Giving
If We Try
We Shall See
In This Bliss
We Cannot Feel
Fear Or Dread
We Stop Existing And
Start Living

Then It Feels That Always
Love's Enough For
Us Growing
So Make A Better World
Make A Better World...

Heal The World
Make It A Better Place
For You And For Me
And The Entire Human Race
There Are People Dying
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Better Place
For You And For Me

And The Dream We Were
Conceived In
Will Reveal A Joyful Face
And The World We
Once Believed In
Will Shine Again In Grace
Then Why Do We Keep
Strangling Life
Wound This Earth
Crucify Its Soul
Though It's Plain To See
This World Is Heavenly
Be God's Glow

We Could Fly So High
Let Our Spirits Never Die
In My Heart
I Feel You Are All
My Brothers
Create A World With
No Fear
Together We'll Cry
Happy Tears
See The Nations Turn
Their Swords
Into Plowshares

We Could Really Get There
If You Cared Enough
For The Living
Make A Little Space
To Make A Better Place...

Heal The World
Make It A Better Place
For You And For Me
And The Entire Human Race
There Are People Dying
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Better Place
For You And For Me

Heal The World
Make It A Better Place

rofl. that is hilarious. badass show though, I think anyone who has seen it will admit. he was on top of the world then and it shows. it's before it became some weird circus shit on a full scale... he still had Emanuel Lewis on his lap and shit lol...

Rest in Peace and all that - sure he was frankenstein later in life but please, remember, in the 80s, this man was a god.
