yeah i use that plug no messing about it just gets the job done. they have got some correction/autotune/bendy thing on there site, cant remeber the name now.

EDIT: think it is called G-Snap or so check that site the got a nice comp' on there and a few other bits

Lol Yeah it can get a little dull. Its so fuckin small!!! We have got a wicked record shop called Drop thats run by mate Slack. Recommend you take a look if you ever decide to come back, it specialises in dubstep. :D

yeah sorry man, bit drunk yesterday. my wife and i went there for 3 1/2 days for a anniversary, after 2 days of wandering round not a huge amount to do but get pissed all the time - dint have a car so couldnt explore the country around it, looked nice tho.

this was years ago now, moved somewhere even smaller.

loop the sample and play different notes til you find one that fits nice.
If you cant, try pitch shifting sample 50cents/quarter tone and doing it again.

a lot of songs/samples don't tend to be that harmonically rich and once you get a root note you can easily add intervals on top....

Melodyne etc can be a rather hit and miss affair unless its one line vocals.

nothing beats music theory/ear training/practice...

once you've got that down...you can find the key in a matter of seconds...
