you don't really get mid-week release dates, and never with stuff from ST Holdings. With ST, there is a monday release date, and things go on sale the week before - in theory so that mail order shops can send on the preceeding Friday (aka Friday Shipping) in order to arrive on the Monday of release.
So for example, stuff that appears in shops online this week which are marked 'Friday Shipping' should be shipping out to you on Friday 10th July and arrive on Monday 13th July, the release date.
the release date for City Limits is 20th July for the vinyl, 27th July for the CD, so you'll see the vinyl on sale after this coming weekend.

27th of July is my birthday, so if anyone were to be kind enough, it would make the perfect birthday present

wtf?!
http://www.soundsoftheuniverse.com/releases/?id=16591
I thought that Purple love was only going to be on the single sided limted 12"?
but its also on the the flip of test?!
So I spent 2 x £7 fucking quid on the single side 12" for no reason?
please tell me there is a mistake.
