Retrigger has been a mate with the schizosonics for years, since he first caught our attention on his productions; which get even more intense when played live [if you ever watched it, you know what we're talkin' about).
The main brazilian producer of "extreme" and experimental breakbeats [the term "breakcore" isn't enough anymore], Raul Costa brought a different swing to the style, impregnating it on "exotic" references: dialogues from b movies and cartoons, timbres of 80s videogames, rockabilly, surf music, mash-ups, ska, ragga, dub and lounge; etc.
"Jeanie and Caroline" is the "empowered" new edition of an album originally launched in 2007. Once defined by a fan as "Breakcore you could play to your mom", the material is so versatile that we believe it to please the rock musicians, punks, experimentalistas, up-to-date crew, ravers; strengthening the idea of Psicotropicodelia in always going for diverse creativity.
A new artwork was created for this item, made by designer Flavio Lazarino, using an old 60s photo as main resource, reinforcing the retro-futuristic inspiration and the two "characters" from the album's title.
