I find DnB so so so much easier and quicker to produce, the basslines take no effort atall and the drumbeats are even easier. And he talks about dub being repetative, Most DnB is 5 minutes of loops. This is just a matter of them simply not gettin dubstep, thats why its quite underground mot people don't get it.

Let em on with it, less people like dub the better in my opinion i like the tight nip group we have.

Ever been on DOA? There are still some people that seem to be highly offended by dubstep. There are less and less by the day though. Wait until every single dnb producer has released a dubstep tune... which will be like tomorrow... and then you will see the haters diminish to nothing. These guys here are just having a laugh anyway, don't get caught in the trap.

people that don't get dubstep need to get out of their bedrooms in their parents house and go to a venue with a decent system

These people are stupid, D&B Loving, Chav's. I personally find Drum & Bass boring since discovering Dubstep and couldn't imagine going back to it and wouldn't want to. The only good Drum & Bass around at the moment is Instra:Mental, dBridge, Spectrasoul, Abstract Elements etc.

Saying this, i first heard Dubstep on shitty iPod speakers at a festival as my mate bought Rinse 02: Skream. After that i was hooked, didn't hear it on a good system until about a quarter of a year after i found it.

totally agree, i don't need a great system to enjoy dubstep, but i do get more out of it if the bass really hits me.

and i'm the same for drum and bass now, rarely go back to it. i find the beats so mundane and boring.. only really listen to it when i'm doing an ego boosting mix because it's so easy!

I cant see whats posted on that facebook link as its blocked in work, but I'm guessing its some dnb heads dissing dubstep... Well tbf you lot are clearly doing exactly the same... Some dnb is boring as said above but so is some dubstep, the lot of you need to get of your high horses an stop dissing a genre just because you dont like it, if you dont like it dont listen to it simple... An I defend dubstep the sameway on dnbforum btw...

Yeah you just realise how much it does need a sick system to be at it's full potential. Just makes you fall in love with it again.

Haha is it easy to mix then? I have never tried as i started DJ'ing once i got into this beauty of a genre .

The reason I called drum and bass boring, is because every song has the same drum loop, which is why it's easy to mix. I'll also come out and say it, I enjoy dissing drum and bass. I'm staying on my high horse for now.

On behalf of all the Huddersfield dubsteppaz, i apologise for this total cretin ... who ironically has mutual dubstep friends with me on facebook :?
