and i'm the same for drum and bass now, rarely go back to it. i find the beats so mundane and boring.. only really listen to it when i'm doing an ego boosting mix because it's so easy!
Yeah you just realise how much it does need a sick system to be at it's full potential. Just makes you fall in love with it again.

Haha is it easy to mix then? I have never tried as i started DJ'ing once i got into this beauty of a genre .
The reason I called drum and bass boring, is because every song has the same drum loop, which is why it's easy to mix. I'll also come out and say it, I enjoy dissing drum and bass. I'm staying on my high horse for now.
It clearly doesnt tho does it? Maybe if your just listening to jump up... Thats as bad as saying Dubstep is just wobble...

Which it isnt before any thinks I'm dissing it

Unless you're a wigger, there's nothing to worry about is there? :)

WHAT! who ever wrote that has no clue

I saw Skream at Snowbombing in march and his set was sick and then I saw London Eleckricity like an hour after and couldn't dance to it was too use to skanking to dubstep then when it droped it was nothing compared to dubstep

disappointing drops..
this is true. if i go to an entirely dnb night i can get right into it, but when the same room alternates between dubstep and dnb, the dnb comes on and im just like 'fucks sake, this is just doing my head in'.

D&b is not all the same....the best d&b is better than the best dubstep

Kakaka, 2step. Tell us what U call it then.
Yeah looked on this, just come back today, just came back from nass fest, which was the same ol doa arena stuff, to be honest, apart from people like d bridge who still sound fresh, and a few others like HC, calibre, etc. I learnt from this wkend that big drum and bass gigs can be throwaway apart from a bit of shy fx and HC wasn't feeling most of it. And as for it being unimaginative, I'd say this was exactly what I know think about dnb, EG at Nass they played that hazard tune so many times. Hospital crew are good, but I pretty much don't like any jump up stuff any more. I'd say it's more people who actually like their music who have gone the dubstep way, because of the space it allows you it can be so much more musical. And these people probably don't even know them but most of the best (and some of the less good) dnb producers have started making dubstep. Breakage, benny page, shy fx, martyn, chase and status, calibre, crissy criss. And as for dubstep being easy to mix, try mixing two 2steppy tunes that are swung the opposite ways. No chance. END OF THREAD!

This is so stupid, it's a Facebook group hahaha

And why do people complain about people not liking dubstep when half the people here are complaining about drum and bass? Silliness
