Lol nah, it's not a big deal, I kind of thought so at first until I heard more of Synkro's work. Even his 2step stuff has some considerable differences, though, it's much more pleasant and clubbier.

how are his basslines anything like burial?

they are not!!

sure the vibe is somewhat the same a lot but, IMO synkro is WAYYYY more dancefloor.

i fuckin love synkro~!!

and i love burial!

I can see where you're coming from, when I first listened to 'Inhale' i picked up the similarities, but apart from the vocals and garage beat the two are very different in style. Like most people have said in this thread, Synkro has got more of a dancefloor style to Burial. Similar vibe, but you're always going to get similarities in a dance genre, or in any genre for that matter.
