I guess its hippylove's take on how he thinks Americans sound and also how he thinks Americans see people from the UK. My guess is hippylove is a seasoned world traveler with a lot of real cultural experience.
ah i was a bit slow on the uptake there.

i'm a k1 fan first, but last night was wicked!

GSP!!!

lesnar in an animal, it's a shame his brute force is his strength. he makes you think how fucked up the WWE would be if it was more of a sport than a show.
personally, i'd prefer to watch technique over power any day...

Meh I am going to have to pull out the ZZZZZZZZZZZ's on this one too. I don't find any enjoyment in the fights. I'll catch a fight about as often as I catch a race, which was last Saturday because my wife's familly love's watching rednecks going around in circles. Was a nice finish though, the leader fucked up his whip and took out about half of the cars with him just before they crossed the line. I am good for the next 5 years now.

Want to talk about gridiron or ice hockey lmk.

Yeah, pretty much acting like that is a guaranteed way to start a fight with me.
Yes, I talk funny, yes I don't act exactly like you, no reason to mock me.

Its always cool when an MMA fighter respects his opponent and admits he is worried but is willing to try his best, and then pounds some trash talker. I must admit, the UK team overall was way, way more humble, it was just Bisping who was on a high ride. I still like Bisping though, overall he seems like a good guy.
Definitely. Same time you have to sell those PPV tickets to make a good portion of your paycheck. A certain amount of promotional shit talking is required. If anything Bisping has put UK martial arts on the map. Rampage is training in the UK with Bisping and he ain't no slouch himself. This thread was just a good nature razzing that frankly should always take place when a good fight jumps off, or a good sports matchup. No hard feelings either way. I thought Bisping would beat Henderson. Neither of them had been knocked out or stopped before. Henderson is also MUCH older and has been in a ton of fights outside the UFC before coming in.

Doesn't matter who wins to me, I always want to see a knockout. Call me morbid, but I think pretty much everyone in the arena was thinking the same thing.
Forgive me, I'm out of weed.

DH hasnt ever been knocked out, so was pretty obvious really unless Bisping had a ground game ..... err, see what i mean, DH was a former olympic wrestler, way more experienced in most things.

How about Lesnar? What a fucking asshole. I don't care what kind of problems you have outside the ring, when the referee says touch gloves you touch gloves. Once the fight is over the problems are done and you go on like adults.

Yea that is depressing. The guy has no respect for the sport, the fans, etc... sure they were booing the big dumb ass... he lay on Mir for 2 rounds and more or less knocked on his forehead to cut him, but made no attempt to go for a knockout or a submission. It was passive aggressive. Not athletic in any way. Oh the big guy lay on top of the little guy and slapped him repeatedly in the face and said "name 10 candy bars... name 10 candy bars... name 10 candy bars" like a mosquito.. making no attempt to Knock Mir out.

Then get up and disrespect the fans who paid 45 stacks to sit in the front row of a historic event. He doesn't deserve to be there. Too bad Dana White has no integrity or real love for the sport of MMA. I mean what real fan of MMA would give a guy a title shot after 3 wins and a loss? No real fan that cares about the integrity of the title of champion would do that.

It sucks because i was thinking of going to the gym lesnars trains at and checking it out. It is only like a 20min drive for me and the coaches are all supposed to be sound. I just wonder what it would be like to run into Brock on a bad day lol.
